Aditi Ashok makes cut at Drive on Championship

Aditi Ashok carded a decent 1-under 71 in the second round of the Drive on Championship to make the cut in Florida.
Battling with the windy challenge at the Crown Colony Golf & Country Club, Aditi added 71 to her opening round even-par 72 to advance to the weekend action while sitting on the last qualifying berth.
The 2-time LET champion Aditi mixed three birdies against two bogeys in her round of 71 at the LPGA $1,500,000 prize money event.
Leona Maguire shot a 7-under 65 to tie for first place with Marina Alex.

Both the joint-leaders smashed seven birdies in their second rounds, with Maguire didn’t make any error and had a bogey-free round, while Alex was similarly bogey-free until she made a minor error and hit five on the par-4 15th hole.
Three golfers, including 2 Americans, Brittany Altomare and Scaty Lewis, and one Swedish Linnea Johansson were sharing third placing with a 4-shot gap of the leaders.
Three other golfers were a stroke back, tied for sixth place at 8-under 136 after 36 holes.
Pre-tournament favourite and the current no.1 in the world, Nelly Korda had a little better day at work as she posted 2-under in the second round to make a slight jump at the leaderboard heading into the third round.
