Aditi Ashok returns to the LPGA Tour, ready for Portland Classic

India’s top-ranked golfer Aditi Ashok is all set to return to LPGA Tour after playing three events at the Ladies European Tour.
Aditi Ashok, the lone Indian golfer on the LPGA Tour, has competed in three LET events in the last three weeks and has had a strong run there as well.
The 23-year-old Aditi finished T-10th in Skafto Open, T-12th in Creekhouse Ladies Open, and T-11th in last week’s Swiss Ladies Open.
Aditi, who represented India at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, is back on the LPGA after a one-month hiatus and will play her first two rounds at Oregon Golf Club in Portland alongside Irish golfer Stephanie Meadow and Dutch golfer Anne Van Dam.

Aditi has been in decent form this year as she made nine cuts in fourteen games, and her best finish was a tie for 5th at the LPGA Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational in July.
She is seeking her maiden win on the LPGA Tour as her last worldwide title was at Ladies European Tour in the Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open in 2017.
The LPGA’s Portland Classic golf tournament returns for its 50th year in which the defending champion Georgia Hall will start as a favourite to win the star-studded US$1,4000,000 prize money event.
The tournament features some of the top female golf professionals, including the 2019 Women’s PGA Championship winner Hannah Green, who also won this event in 2019, the veteran South-Korean Hee Young Park, and Jeongeun Lee6, who finished runners-up at 2021 Evian Championship.
