Indian golfers shine in Foreign tours

Shubhankar Sharma, Rahil Gangjee, and Tvesa Malik, three outstanding Indian golfers, shone on the professional tours after finishing inside the top -10 position at their respective events.

India's Shubhankar Sharma fired a solid final round of four-under-67 to finish a creditable tied eighth at thirteen-under-271 at the Made in Himmerland on Sunday.

Sharma played back-to-back flawless rounds (6-under, 4-under) to finish his campaign inside top-8 at the €1,500,000 prize money event.

It was his first top-10 finish of the current European Tour season.

The 42-year-old Rahil Gangjee shot an eagle on the 18th to finish his Mizuno Open campaign at tied-10th position.

This place is marked as the best for the veteran Gangjee and gave him the much-needed boost towards keeping his playing rights in 2022.

The young and talented Tvesa Malik posted one-over 73 in the final round to sign off a creditable tied 10th at the Ladies Italian Open.

The ten-time WPG tour champion birdied the first two holes and got into a share of the lead but could not find any birdies in the next 16 holes and finished T-10 at the €200,000 prize money event.

It was Malik's first Top-10 this season. Her career-best finish at LET is T-6 at Hero Indian Open in 2019.

Bernd Wiesberger wins Made in Himmerland

Bernd Wiesberger of Austria defended his title at the Made in HimmerLand event on the European Tour after carding a 7-under 64 on the final day to grab the title by five strokes.

With this win, Wiesberger created a record of becoming the first player to retain a European Tour title since Jon Rahm at the Open de Espana in 2019.

The Italian golfer Guido Migliozzi shot the lowest round of the day, a birdie-free 63, to finish alone in second.
