Amandeep Drall, Seher Atwal share second-round lead in 13th leg of Hero WPGT

WPGT Order of Merit leader Amandeep Drall posted a blistering 5-under 67 to share the second-round lead with Seher Atwal.

Leg no.10 winner Amandeep had a spectacular second day at the challenging Boulder Hills to edge past many to climb from overnight fifth to first.

She smashed four birdies without any errors on the front nine, made a little mistake on the 10th hole but recovered well and hit two more birdies on the remaining eight holes at the Rs.10 Lakh prize money event.

The young Seher, on the other hand, shot 3-under 69 with the help of five birdies against two bogeys to reach the top spot.

Hitaashee Bakshi, Jahanvi Bakshi

Hitaashee, who scored 3-over 75 on the first day, shot the day’s best score of seven-under 65 to rise to tied third at four-under 140 along with sister Jahanvi Bakshi.

While the elder one, Jahanvi, also improved with 4-under 68 to sit alongside Hitaashee heading into the final round.

Vani Kapoor, who shot a spectacular 5-under 67 on the first day and was the leader, lost her momentum in the second round and only managed to score 2-over 74 to share tied-fifth spot alongside Chandigarh’s Saaniya Sharma.
