Sneha Singh, Hitaashee Bakshi share second-round lead at second leg of Hero WPGT

Last week’s winner Sneha Singh posted second straight 2-under 68 to once again reach the top spot at the third leg of Hero WPGT.
Sneha, after her impressive rounds of 68s, tied at a top place alongside equally talented Hitaashee Bakshi at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club in Mumbai.
Hitaashee Bakshi mixed two birdies against one bogey on the front nine. She didn’t make any error on the back-nine and added 69 to her first-round 67 to share the lead.
The overnight leader, Amandeep Drall, who shot a brilliant 4-under in the opening round, threw the opportunity to extend the lead as with a score of 2-over 72, she slipped down to the third position.2022 WPGT first-leg winner Pranav Urs also had a round of 2-under 68 to reach solo fourth heading into the final round.

Gaurika Bishnoi, who started her second day with an eagle on 576 yards par-5 first hole, lost her momentum as she finished the day at a decent even-par 72 to be placed tied-5th with Rhea Purvi (71-70).
Jahanvi Bakshi and Neha Tripathi were tied-7th with two days matching the total of 3-over 143.
Tvesa Malik had another so-so day at work, in which she shot an even-par 72 to make a slight improvement from overnight 13th to 10th with just one round left.
The 312 yards par-4 12th hole turned out to be one of the hardest zones as eight out of 37 golfers saw double bogeys, whereas nine of 37 witnessed bogeys, while Pranavi Urs took the honours of only golfer to shoot a birdie on that challenging hole.
Eleven golfers, including the veteran Mehar Atwal, failed to make the cut.
